During this uncertain time, KAB Welfare Foundation has adapted to meet the extraordinary challenges of this coronavirus pandemic and fulfil our lifesaving mission to alleviate suffering as we confront an emergency unlike any we have faced in a century. In late March 2020, KAB Welfare Foundation worked around the clock to put this new initiative in place by establishing a process to identify, qualify and collect convalescent plasma safely from recovered COVID-19 individuals
KAB contribution in Blood Disorder & Blood Donation Life Saving Service
The mission of KAB Welfare Foundation is that not a single person should suffer/die due to non-availability of blood. Actions given below:
- KAB Promotes blood transfusions as essential, life-saving treatments.
- Supports a sustainable blood system (Hospitals / Plasma Bank) as a critical component of the healthcare system.
- Encourage regular blood donation as needed to maintain a stable supply of safe blood with sufficient capacity to respond to emerging infectious diseases, disasters and emergencies.
- Support patients’ access to matched, specific blood types as well as universal blood components.

Have been blessed to help 3000 Families got Plasma Donors and have guided / counselling 20K Families all over India.
Have donated 220 PPE kits on 21st April 2020 at Red Cross Society
Have facilitated numerous Blood Donation Events and Food Drives to serve people in need.
